Ambassadors of the Alexander City Chamber of Commerce
The Alexander City Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are a group of community-minded adults who volunteer their time to broaden the Chamber’s reach throughout the community. Ambassadors meet on the first Friday of every month for lunch and attend all major Chamber functions. These include events such as Ribbon Cuttings, Lead Forward, Quarterly Luncheons, and the Annual Meeting—each designed to promote Alexander City and the Lake Martin area.

What Do Ambassadors Do?
- Event Participation: Ambassadors play a key role in Chamber functions, ensuring these events run smoothly and that new members and guests feel welcomed.
- Community Engagement: By attending events and volunteering their time, Ambassadors help the Chamber create a more connected and engaged business community.
- Point-Based System: Ambassadors earn points for each function they attend, and the Ambassador with the most points at the end of the year is honored as the Ambassador of the Year at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.
Why Become an Ambassador?
- Networking Opportunities: Ambassadors build valuable relationships within the business community while gaining greater visibility for their own business.
- Leadership Development: Serving as an Ambassador provides opportunities to grow your leadership and communication skills.
- Recognition: Ambassadors who contribute significantly throughout the year are celebrated for their efforts and become role models within the Chamber.
